Estonia
Estonia is the most northern and the smallest of the three Baltic countries. Estonia in many ways is similar to Denmark with her half-magic architecture and moist sea air, which fills the lungs, all the time while you are traveling through that country.
Tallinn, the capital of Estonia as well as Copenhagen, seems to be the real realization of tales of Andersen. Even in those days, when Estonia was a part of the Soviet Union, Tallinn was able to keep its European character and did not dissolve in the multitude of grey and faceless multistories, the basic architectural preferences of the Soviet era.
The streets of Tallinn are quiet and cosy. Walking on them you have an impression that nothing is unable to shake the local unhurried course of events. This typical Scandinavian slowness makes Tallinn one of the most popular places among the Swedes, Norwegians, and especially among tourists from Finland.
Among the resort areas of Estonia that should be marked out is Piarnu. Piarnu is a city with ancient architecture. Formerly wealthy merchants settled here (the city was located on the path of trade routes from Scandinavia to Russia). Piarnu in Estonia is considered to be the main resort, as the same Sochi for Russia.
As a popular recreational options in Estonia there are cruises on the Baltic Sea with visits to the islands. There are a few islands in Estonia, the biggest of which is the island Saaremaa. Taking into the consideration a high demand for cruises in the Gulf of Finland, Estonia in 2002 launched one of the largest cruise ships in the Baltic Sea. The ship «Romance» is walking daily on the very popular sea route of Estonia «Tallinn-Helsinki».

Holidays in Bulgaria: visa-free regime for Schengen owners
The Bulgarian government decided to simplify for many tourists the procedure of entering the country. From now on all people with a valid Schengen visa can go on holiday to Bulgaria without national visa. In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries.
The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors.
Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry.
It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa.
New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008 leading Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria have marked decreasing of the square meter price. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
