Agrotourism in Belarus
Everyone knows that in Belarus there is no sea. And there are no mountains. And there are no world-famous attractions. Belarus is a modest country, which seems to have nothing worth seeing and moreover no places for the recreation. However, it is not so.
Belarus is a wonderful enclave of wildlife. It, unlike in Europe, still has truly virgin forests. Belarusian lakes , which became the main calling card of the country, have a surprising ability to dissolve anxiety and bring solace to the heart of modern citizens.
The ruins of the medieval Belarusian castles, not being able to compete in grandeur with its fellows from the Czech Republic and Romania, however, harmoniously point out the natural beauty of Belarus and add to their primeval a special charm.
It is no secret that more and more people every year choose to rest mentally rather than spend time in noisy and annoying southern resorts. And in this case, the rest in Belarus is one of the most suitable options. On of the most popular areas of the world tourist industry, rural tourism, is now actively being developed in the republic.
Belarus became one of the last country in Europe that have decided to develop this area. But even today several hundred farmsteads all over the country offer foreign tourists an authentic recreation with the immersion in a particular way of life of the backwoods of Belarus.
At the same time, the majority of Belarusian farmsteads offer the essential services without which are common for the Europeans: separate sleeping rooms, hot shower, etc. In addition there is the opportunity to take a steam bath, go fishing in picturesque places and go horse-riding. The tourists will take part in the ancient Belarusian rites, will get acquainted with the nourishing Belarusian cuisine and try the most popular alcoholic drink in Belarus moonshine.

In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries.
The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors.
Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry.
It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa.
New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
