Novogrudok
Novogrudok is the third city in the so-called silver ring belorussians cities. Novogrudok is one of the three capitals of the Middle Ages in Belarus (Nesvizh-Turov-Novogrudok).
In Novogrudok is one of the highest points of Belarus. In the early Middle Ages Novogrudok was the capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the residence of King Mindovg. It is impossible to find out where the Great King was buried. However, there is a sepulchral stone in Novogrudok Mindovg. According to one version it is believed that the remains of King are in Novogrudok land.
In Novogrudok, on castle hill left the ruins of impregnable castle. Prior to the use of gunpowder in wars, the castle did not submit any of the attackers. He was captured only by Swedes. But then against the defender in the castle they used guns.
Novogrudok is famous for the fact that here was born the great Polish and Belarusian poet Adam Mickiewicz. The museum of the poet is working in Novogrudok. Together with the Polish side the museum is constantly being updated.
Like many ancient cities of Belarus since 2000, Knight festival is held in Novogrudok. Huge tents are placed directly below the Castle Hill. The culmination of the festival is always a mock capture of the castle with a lot of infantry soldiers. According to witnesses, the battle has no difference from the real one. Both sides fight ardently and fearlessly in the battle.

River of Memory will appear in Minsk
Memorial composition in memory of those killed in the terrorist attack on April 11, 2011 in Minsk subway will be installed at the Oktyabrskaya station exit. Now there is a temporary marble memorial plaque where are always burning candles and church lamps.

Holidays in Bulgaria: visa-free regime for Schengen owners
The Bulgarian government decided to simplify for many tourists the procedure of entering the country. From now on all people with a valid Schengen visa can go on holiday to Bulgaria without national visa. In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries.
The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors.
Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry.
It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa.
New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008 leading Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria have marked decreasing of the square meter price. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
