Serbia
Nature has generously endowed Serbia, which is located in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula and is one of the most beautiful countries that have emerged after the dissolution of Socialist Yugoslavia.
It has a wonderful, mild moderate continental climate, the amazing beautiful and diverse natural landscapes and healing mineral springs. There are also ancient cultural treasures and architectural monuments, many of which are under the UNESCO protection. There is everything that would meet the needs of the most demanding tourist, the inflow of whom has been growing rapidly in recent years.
Serbia today is an oasis of health in Europe, which had began to be opened up by the Romans nearly 2 thousand years ago. Today, in Serbia there are more than 1000 healing mineral springs, spa and climatic therapeutic-mud resorts. The most famous are Zlatibor, Zlatar, Divchibare. There are modern medical centers and highly skilled specialist who expertly combine the capabilities of modern equipment and the natural power for the prevention and treatment of various diseases.
Serbia offers unlimited possibilities to the extreme sportsmen. National Parks Dzherdap, Shara, Kapaonik, Fruska Gora and Tara are famous for its mountainous landscapes, picturesque gorges and lakes with crystal clear water. The combination of well-developed infrastructure, low prices and beautiful natural landscapes is very attractive to European tourists visiting mountain resorts in Serbia.
The religion is predominantly Orthodox. In recent times, Serbia has become increasingly important for the Orthodox Christians as a place of pilgrimage and worship of the many shrines.
The capital of Serbia, Belgrade, is one of the oldest cities in Europe. The first settlements in the place of the city had appeared about 4thousand years ago. Today, Belgrade is one of the largest cities in the Balkan Peninsula, the city, which had been ruined 39 times, but kept himself the spirit of ancient Rome and Byzantium, the Ottoman Empire and the Country of the South Slavs.

River of Memory will appear in Minsk

Holidays in Bulgaria: visa-free regime for Schengen owners
The Bulgarian government decided to simplify for many tourists the procedure of entering the country. From now on all people with a valid Schengen visa can go on holiday to Bulgaria without national visa. In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries.
The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors.
Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry.
It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa.
New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008 leading Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria have marked decreasing of the square meter price. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
