Recently, thousands of charming participants of the female movement «Femen» marched to one of the main streets of Ukrainian capital, Khreschatik. With such an original action within the scope of a national program to combat sex tourism «Ukraine is not a brothel!» this year was opened the standing campaign «Femen-patrol». 

The main goal of this action is the holding of explanatory work among the foreigners who are among the most active consumers of the sphere of intimate services. In such an original way the organizers suggest to caution foreign guests from illegal actions stimulating the sex industry in Ukraine. Also, the organizers suggest actions to influence the vulgar stereotypes of Ukraine abroad as a country of not only extremely beautiful but also very easily accessible women.

Weekly, from March 1st in the center of Kiev and the most popular among foreign tourists places captivating Ukrainian female movement activists «Femen» will meet with the foreign guests. The girls will detect potential sex tourists, explain the unacceptability of such behaviour, warn form committing illegal acts and encourage foreign visitors to relax in a civilized manner. 

Today in Ukraine the problem of sex industry and sex tourism, that are reinforcing their position, is recognized at the highest level. The leader of the female movement «Femen» Anna Gutsol stressed, that in the conditions of an increasing global economic crisis, the devaluation of the national currency and increasing of the number of unemployed, reinforced by the bleak forecasts of analysts for the coming boom of sex tourism in Ukraine, holding of such actions is essential. She also specified that the movement made a number of agreements with the German Embassy in Ukraine about the support and cooperation in the fight against sex tourism.
