Belarus will attract tourists by frog's legs

(0) marks: 0In the nearest future Belarus is risking to become a new popular direction of the gourmet tourism, offering the whimsical European tourists not only original Belarusian dishes as «draniki» and «babka» but also dainty dishes of the refined French cuisine.
It is known that Belarus has long and very actively been promoting the rural and ecological tourism: new environmental routes and agro-estates are being developed and original ways to entertain and attract tourists are created. Recently, however, the National Academy of Sciences has established and implemented a number of innovative plans to give Belarus a powerful impetus for the development of new and promising directions of the tourist business, gourmet tourism.
The Breeding of the grape snails have long been a lucrative business in Belarus: annually during 15 years in Western European countries were exported more than 300 tons of these molluscs. The dainty meat and the caviar of the grape snails, which do not contain cholesterol and rich in essential amino acids and biologically active substances, are particularly in demand in France, Italy and Switzerland. However, it should be mentioned that the refined delicacy start to increasingly appear in the menus of the Belarusian restaurants, pleasing the gourmets with its refined taste.
The latest innovative development of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus became a project of industrial breeding of edible lake frog at the existing fishing farms of the republic. According to the scientists, the breeding of the edible lake (Rana Ridibunda) and esculent frogs (Rana Esculenta), which meat is considered to be a delicious delicacy, can not only give to the country currency in times of economic crisis, but also to significantly influence on the development of the gourmet tourism.
It is proposed to breed the edible amphibians in the southern regions of the republic, Brest, Gomel and Minsk.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments. According to bTV channel, the largest part of this sum will be granted by the European Union.
