A Malev airlines’ airplane has made an emergency landing in Varna

According to the Managing Director of the Malev airline in Bulgaria, the aircraft of Hungarian carrier Malev had to make an emergency landing at the airport of the Bulgarian town of Varna at 5.12 a.m. on May 12.

Airplane Q400 Bombardier of the Malev Hungarian Airlines, during the flight from Varna to Budapest, had to make an emergency landing and was abandoned by passengers almost immediately after the takeoff, when technical problems were detected.

Technical experts of the company had quickly found out and eliminated the trouble in the aircraft, which resulted in raising passengers and luggage on board of the aircraft few hours later, and the flight to Budapest was carried out without further incident.

It should be noted that the Canadian Aerospace department Bombardier is the world's third largest civil aircraft manufacturer after Boeing and Airbus companies. Nevertheless, on 12 February, 2009 a similar Q400 aircraft had crashed a few kilometers from the U.S. city of Buffalo, New York, which resulted in 49 people dead aboard and one person who was in the house which fell on the airliner. According to the comments of the aircraft company, it was the first crash, leading to the death of people. However, it should be noted that, however, that technical problems related to the safety were also detected in this type of aircraft in the past.

At the time of detection of technical defects of aircraft of the Hungarian Airlines, on a flight from Varna to Budapest and during the commission of an emergency landing the aircraft had 30 passengers aboard. According to the airlines, none of the passengers was hurt.
