Traveling to Eastern Europe, in addition to numerous cultural and historical attractions is also an excellent choice for travelers wishing to relax perfectly and save money. Eastern European countries outside the Eurozone still offer a prestigious service at reasonable prices.

In сonnection with the global financial crisis, which has significantly reduced the needs of travelers and expressively influenced on the tourist sector, as well as on significantly strengthening of the euro, a growing number of tourists try to avoid expensive countries in the Eurozone and more often choose Eastern countries. According to a study City Costs Barometer conducted by Post Office Travel Service, cities in Eastern and Central Europe outside the Eurozone still offer the best prices for travelers. Travels in the region cost the tourists much cheaper than trips to the Scandinavian countries, the United Kingdom or Western Europe.

To get results, British analysts have compared the tourists’ spending in various cities outside the Eurozone, taking into account the cost of accommodation (3 * hotel), airport transfers, visits to the city's leading art gallery and most important attractions, as well as the cost of a cup of coffee, a glass of beer in a cafe, dinner in a restaurant, a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of mineral water and Coca-Cola. According to a study in сonnection with the economic crisis and low rates of local currencies, Budapest (£ 129,23), Warsaw (£ 137,09), and Prague (£ 153,92), are the most attractive tourist destinations. Lovers of cultural leisure are recommended to visit such areas as Warsaw, Budapest and Tallinn, which offer very attractive prices for visiting theaters, galleries and concerts.

Gourmets should look at Budapest and Prague, where dinner for two at the restaurant, consisting of three courses and a bottle of wine will cost on average of just £ 20,03 and £ 28,93, respectively. The cheapest airport transfers are offered in Tallinn. For British tourists the most inexpensive destination is still Bulgaria, and one of the most attractive - Turkey and Croatia.
