In Vilnius, which this year is the cultural capital of Europe, in addition to the huge number of exciting cultural events, was started the film project "Film in the city, city in film".

The main goal of the project is the promotion and activization of interest to the forgotten places of the Lithuanian capital, which historically were linked with other European cities. The festival includes film views at an open air, in the courtyards of the cultural center of Vilnius: the Lithuanian Theater, the Museum of Music and Film, ancient churches, theaters and picturesque places nearby Vilnius Concert and Sports Palace. The project will gather various film schools of Europe: Lithuanian, German, French, Italian, Polish, Russian and many others.

The project "Film in the city, city in film" ends on August 16.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments. According to bTV channel, the largest part of this sum will be granted by the European Union.
