The group of companies in the field of market research and promotional activities Research and Branding Group conducted a study of the tourist market in Ukraine. The results of the survey showed that the majority of Ukrainians prefer in the time of the global financial crisis try to spend less money on the recreation and to enjoy their vacations mostly at home.

In the study, conducted by Research and Branding Group, from 12 to 22 of July, took part approximately 3 000 respondents, and was revealed a trend in the choice of the Ukrainians of the passive recreation that means spending a minimum money. On average, regardless of income level, 42% of the respondents indicated that they would spend their vacation at home.

So:

The respondents, whose income, as compared to the previous year, grew up, would prefer to stay home 40%.

Among the respondents whose incomes remained the same, 44% to remain at home, 14% will have a holiday in the cottage and 14% chose to rest at sea in Ukraine.

Respondents, who had lost up to the half of their income, will prefer a vacation at home - 37%, or will go to the sea in Ukraine - 15%.

Half of the Ukrainians, who have lost more than half of their income, will prefer to stay at home, while 13% will spend their summer in cottage.

On average, on the question about the upcoming holidays could not answer on average 11% of the respondents, regardless of income level, which is significantly higher than last year's figures (2%).
