For many Serbs, the concert of Leonard Cohen in Serbia was a breakthrough, allowing to open Belgrade for the rest of the world. Until now, the capital of Serbia is forced to fight with the reputation of the war city. The concert of Leonard Cohen will be able to show to the world that Belgrade today is primarily a place for living and recreation.
The performance of Leonard Cohen in Belgrade promises to gather a lot of his fans. It promises to be unique not only because Cohen's tour is the first concert tour in which the artist went over the last 15 years. Taking into account the significant age of the singer, the tour is likely to be Cohen's farewell to the general public. This fact has fueled interest in Cohen's concert in Belgrade. During the concert, it is expected that Leonard Cohen will perform his major hits such "Suzanne", "Hallelujah", "Bird on wire" and others.
Cohen’s concert in Belgrade was made possible through active participation in negotiations with the singer of his close friend, Vladislav Bayats, Serbian writer, journalist and editor in chief of the Serbian newspaper "Geopoetika".
After Belgrade Cohen will continue his tour in Spain. The concerts of the famous bard will be held in Madrid, Zaragoza and several other Spanish cities.
Leonard Cohen become famous with his debut album Songs of Leonard Cohen, released in 1968. It was followed by Songs From a Room and Songs of Love and Hate, which gave to Cohen the reputation of one of the strongest melodist and talented poets of modern pop music.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments. According to bTV channel, the largest part of this sum will be granted by the European Union.
