Lufthansa Airlines offers Internet on board

(0) marks: 0The largest German air carrier Lufthansa Airlines announced the continuation of equipping its aircrafts with FlyNet equipment, which will allow customers to use the broadband internet access and transfer data via mobile phone on board of an aircraft.
At the current moment together with Panasonic Company with the special equipment are equipped 69 long-haul aircrafts, which serve more than 30 000 users per month. According to the Lufthansa airline's managers till the end of 2010 the entire fleet of long-haul aircrafts will be equipped with FlyNet.
Lufthansa airline passengers will receive a full set of Internet and communication services on board. According to the general director and the chairman of the board Wolfgang Mayrhuber: «... Lufthansa’s passengers can expect high quality services during the flight. On long-haul routes we offer to business-class passengers enormous opportunities in the field of communication that does not make concessions on the quality of services provided in the best hotels and specialized points of access to the Internet. After the equipping with FlyNet all long-haul liners Lufthansa Airlines will become the world leader in Internet communications on board.
In addition to Internet access via wireless Wi-Fi users will be able to use the services of VPN, exchange with messages and files via e-mail, SMS and data exchange via iPhone smart phones, BlackBerry or handheld PDA computers. Depending on the used to access the Internet communication devices passengers will be offered different rates of payment from the hourly rates to monthly fees for frequent flyers. Payment will be provided through the service operator, by credit card or by using the original accumulative system of Lufthansa Airlines - «Miles & More».

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments. According to bTV channel, the largest part of this sum will be granted by the European Union.
