The budget Ryanair airline, famous for its original and sometimes very eccentric ideas to minimize transportation costs and the total destruction of passenger comfort, intends to offer its customers a lower cost of air tickets in exchange for a small inconvenience - standing place in the liner. Passengers who would choose this type of flight, will be offered a "bar stool" and a safety belt, fastening at the waist.

The head of the corporation, Mr. Michael O'Leary, has already held talks on the establishment of aircraft with standing places with such a renowned global manufacturer of aircrafts as the Boeing Company. At the moment Ryanair is awaiting for the approval decision from the Irish Aviation Authority before the enlargement of its fleet with new models. Mr. O'Leary said that the idea was borrowed from a Chinese Spring airline, which had previously announced such plans.

It should be noted that such "brilliant" ideas to reduce the cost of transport, which are usually lead to catastrophic decline in passenger comfort and the introduction of taxes "on air" are not new for the head of the company. Currently the Ryanair Company impose taxes on passengers on the online registration (5 pounds), a tax on bags (15-50 pounds), a tax on credit cards (10 pounds) and many others.
Also in the further plans of the head of Ryanair is the introduction of fees for the use of toilet (1 pound) and a tax for people with obesity not only luggage, but also their bodies.

According to the preliminary calculations this "compaction" of aircrafts will allow to carry up to 50% more passengers and reduce the cost of tickets by almost 20%.

The Bulgarian government decided to simplify for many tourists the procedure of entering the country. From now on all people with a valid Schengen visa can go on holiday to Bulgaria without national visa. In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries. The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors. Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry. It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa. New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008 leading Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria have marked decreasing of the square meter price. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
