From February 22 to March 1 all around the world, and especially in Poland, will be celebrated the 200 anniversary of the famous composer Frederic Chopin.

Concerts, ballads, sonatas, screco fantasies, impromptu, etudes and poeticized and dramatized nocturnes, imbued with deep feeling, very special elegance and unparalleled technical perfection – all this is not just great music, but music of the famous Polish musician Frederic Chopin. Frederic Chopin is one of the leading representatives of the Polish art and a favorite among the children of Poland.

The future composer was born on February 22 (on other information on March 1) in 1810 in the town of Żelazowa Wola near Warsaw in the family of a Frenchman Nicolas Chopin and Polish Justina Krzyzanowska. The unique talent of a musician and composer became apparent from an early age and 12-year old Chopin became one of the best pianists in Poland. The best musical salons of Paris, Vienna and London, applauded his magnificent creations.

Matured and closed Frederic Chopin expressed all the frenzy of his feelings and emotions which flooded him in his extraordinary poetical music. By quite a surprisingly way he gave the Polish national folklore an admirable depth, imagery and expressiveness. His Polonaise depicts the beauty and scenic landscapes of Poland. His sketches are poetic, full of youthful freshness and immediacy, drama and harmonic beauty. Amazing waltzes of Chopin are intimate and autobiographical and sketches are full of real Beethoven’s tragic.
