In Evpatoria will be opened a new tourist season

New tourist season in one of the most popular resorts of the Crimean peninsula Evpatoria will be opened the other day with a parade, championship of live sculptures and original Day of Cheburek.
According to the information provided by the executive committee of Evpatoria, festive events will be started on Saturday morning of May 1 with a colorful parade procession, which will be commanded by the terror of the seas, Neptune. As part of the parade will be chosen and rewarded the most colorful, largest and original columns.
Continuation of the holiday will be mark by the opening of the sundial on one of the most beautiful squares - the Theatre Square. Later the festival’s guests will see the opening of new aquarium in the Frunze Park.
Among other things, guests of the festival in Evpatoria can expect numerous local championships of dominoes, competitions of amateur rollers and skateboarders, as well as numerous exhibitions of arts and crafts.
Saturday afternoon will delight residents and visitors of Evpatoria by the original annual championship of living statues, which will be held this year for the third time. The competition will gather 75 talented artists who represent to the public images of the Greek gods and the atlases, muses and a variety of indigenous peoples of the peninsula of Crimea. According to the mayor, the current championship of living sculptures will be the largest in Europe and certainly the largest in the CIS.
Sunday's celebrations devoted to the start of tourist season in Evpatoria, will be held in the very heart of the city. One of the most brilliant and spectacular events will be the manufacturing of giant cheburek on the Karaimskaya Street. According to the organizers of the festival, local cheburek will applied not only to the Ukrainian Book of Records, but also Guinness.

River of Memory will appear in Minsk

Holidays in Bulgaria: visa-free regime for Schengen owners
The Bulgarian government decided to simplify for many tourists the procedure of entering the country. From now on all people with a valid Schengen visa can go on holiday to Bulgaria without national visa. In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries.
The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors.
Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry.
It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa.
New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008 leading Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria have marked decreasing of the square meter price. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
