Romania waits for growth in demand for Ferrari
(News from Romania)
Romania, despite the ongoing financial crisis can occasionally surprise its neighbors and the rest of the world with its paradoxes. While the luxury market is still experiencing hard times, some news from Romania tells the contrary. This time we will speak about sales of luxury cars.
The only importer of Ferrari brand in Romania - Company Forza Rossa - based on current sales of new models of Ferrari concludes that 2010 will be a record for the country by number of deals for buying cars of the famous Italian car brand.
Ferrari 458 Italia and Ferrari 458 California – it can be said that these Ferrari models have become in Romania a kind of a hit. During 6 months of 2010 in Romania were sold 18 cars of Ferrari - the same number as during the entire previous year. It is worth noting that the average price of a Ferrari in the Romanian car market is about 180 000 euros excluding VAT. Another sales leader of the local market is the model Ferrari 599 GTO. During the first half of 2010 in Romania were sold three such vehicles. It is worth noting that their value is equal to approximately 500 000 euros.
Ferrari 599 GTO is a Ferrari rarity. The model was first presented at the motor show in Beijing in April 2010. Then the company's representatives said that the release model is limited by 599 cars.
It is worth noting that Forza Rossa is the official distributor of Ferrari, not only in Romania. The company also represents the interests of the Italian manufacturer in Serbia, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
It is worth noting that the Forza Rossa apart from direct sales of cars is also known as the owner of the largest in Europe Ferrari boutique. Shop in the center of Bucharest opened in December 2009 covers an area of 500 square meters and offers its customers all possible attributes of Ferrari: from leather jackets to watches. In the near future the company intends to open a similar store, this time in Monte Carlo.

Holidays in Bulgaria: visa-free regime for Schengen owners
The Bulgarian government decided to simplify for many tourists the procedure of entering the country. From now on all people with a valid Schengen visa can go on holiday to Bulgaria without national visa. In such way Bulgaria is preparing its structures for the upcoming country’s entry into the visa-free regime, which today functions between the EU countries.
The decision to introduce new visa rules was taken by the Bulgarian cabinet of ministers on Wednesday January 26, 2011. According to the Bulgarian cabinet, the new visa policy will spur the tourist interest and will make Bulgaria more attractive to foreign investors.
Schengen visa owners will be able to get permission to enter Bulgaria and stay on its territory for a period of up to 3 months during the six months from the date of first entry.
It should be noted that the new visa rules in Bulgaria will be useful not only for the EU citizens, but also tourists from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, who have a Schengen visa.
New measures, inter alia, must stir up not only the tourism sector, but also resort property market in Bulgaria. Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008 leading Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria have marked decreasing of the square meter price. Opportunity to visit the country for Schengen owners will facilitate entry of potential buyers and will indirectly stimulate the demand for Bulgarian property.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, in 2011 its consulates issued in total 733 623 visas, which is by 18% more than in 2010.
