Chernobyl will be opened to foreigners

Ukrainian authorities have designed a new and very simple way to replenish the state budget and to entertain foreign guests: in the near future for foreign tourists eager to not only bread and circuses, but also adrenaline bubbling in the veins, will be opened one of the most extreme entertainments - tours to the closed zone of Chernobyl nuclear reactor, which suffered one of the most horrific catastrophes in 1986.
Organized guided tours to Chernobyl closed zone have long been one of the most exciting adventures for many people in Ukraine, who wish to not only get acquainted with one of the most horrific tragedies of the homeland, but also make dangerous adventure and get not only a fair portion of adrenaline, but also deadly radiation. Until now all foreign tourists for such trips were required to undergo the tedious special screening of the security service of Ukraine. Soon the situation promises to change fundamentally.
According to the Minister of Emergencies of Ukraine Viktor Baloga, currently specialists of the Ministry carefully studying the situation and develop a thorough plan for the organization of visits for all comers, including foreign tourists, in the Chernobyl exclusion zone, are being designed safe routes and necessary legal basis. Ukrainian authorities stress the importance of the opening and recovery of the Chernobyl Zone with enormous tourist potential in the light of the upcoming EURO 2012.
According to the ministry, safe well-organized tours to the contaminated area will be organized to the Alienation Zone by three tour operators in Ukraine. At the moment a tender for the right to organize tours to the Zone of Alienation is being held among tour operators.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments. According to bTV channel, the largest part of this sum will be granted by the European Union.
