Famous Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue will perform in Riga on 25 February 2011 as a part of the European tour "Aphrodite - Les Folies Tour 2011" in support of her new album - Aphrodite. The concert will take place on one of the largest sites of Riga - Arena Riga. The day before on February 23 the show was successfully held in Tallinn.

On the stage of Arena Riga Kylie Minogue will present her new songs, as well as a number of old hits, including “I Should Be So Lucky” and “Spinnin 'Around”.

Kylie Minogue's new show even before it started had been included a list of the most brilliant concert events of the Latvian capital in recent years. Performance of the singer will be accompanied by a demonstration of the new 4D Technology. Stage equipment makes the show «Les Folies» similar to the most expensive performances in the world - concerts of U2. The scene will consist of thousands of mobile elements and some of it will be like a special area with swimming pools. The show is served by about 200 people. Along with Kylie Minogue in the show will take part 8 acrobats, 6 musicians and 10 singers.

Another spectacular element of the show is costumes. They are specially designed for Kylie by the famous Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana. In total, during the performance the singer will change 200 dresses. Each of them is a work of art in its own way.

Prices for the tickets range from 28 to 50 lats. Sale of tickets for the concert began on September 13. According to the organizers of the concert - FBI Agency - two days before the show at the box office remained tickets for standing area, which cost 28 lats. There are also some seating tickets for 28 lats.

In connection with the concert of Kylie Minogue, was changed the schedule of KHL playoff game. The game between Dinamo Moscow and Dinamo Riga will begin on February 26 at 19.00.
