Accor will build a new hotel in Bulgaria

Accor, one of the leaders in the global hotel market, is launching its new project in Bulgaria. New hotel in Bulgaria by Accor will appear in Sofia. It will be created in collaboration with the Bulgarian investment holding MHQ.

Information about new hotel in Bulgaria was announced on April 14, 2011 by the head of the Accor in Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria and the Balkans Antoine Guego.
Accor plans to open hotel in Bulgaria under the Novotel brand, which presents middle-class hotels. As expected, the project will be completed by 2013. The new hotel will be located in Sofia, in the central part of the town near the capital’s biggest shopping center - European shopping center.

The Bulgarian company MHQ will finance construction of the hotel. It is worth noting that the hotel will be a part of a commercial complex, which will also include hotels and numerous commercial buildings.

Future Novotel Sofia will occupy part of a 15-storey building. The total area of the hotel will be 9,600 square meters. The hotel will occupy the last 7 floors of the building.

The new hotel will be designed for 177 rooms, 4 of which are apartments and 4 for people with disabilities. The hotel will also have lobby bar, 6 meeting rooms and restaurant.

For Accor, Novotel in Sofia will be the second hotel in Bulgaria. The first Bulgarian Novotel today operates in Plovdiv.

Accor is Europe's largest hotel holding company. It includes 4,200 hotels in 90 countries around the world. Among the Accor brands are Sofitel, Pullman, Mercure, Adagio, Ibis and others.
