Ashley Judd will star in Dubrovnik

Another Hollywood celebrity has chosen Dubrovnik. However, this time Croatian № 1 resort is not so much a place for holidays, but working area. Between 16 and 20 of May in Dubrovnik will be filmed one episode of the series “Missing”, where Ashley will play the main role.
For the filming of an episode of the future series ABC rent one of the most luxurious villas in Dubrovnik, Sheherezade, which overlooks the famous old city ramparts.
Dubrovnik is still one of the leading summer holiday places in southern Europe. So, this Easter in Dubrovnik attracted about 15,000 tourists. These figures are provided by Jutarnji List edition. Most of the tourists, who visited Dubrovnik, arrived here by various cruise lines.
As for the series, "Missing" promises to be the newest product of the ABC and the first experience of Ashley Judd to star as a main character for television projects. The launch of the pilot project was announced in March 2011. The new series will tell about a former CIA agent (Ashley Judd), who travels to Europe in search of her missing son. Now you can be sure that one of the places of finding will be famous Dubrovnik.
Celebrities in Dubrovnik are today such an integral part of tourism in the city as its legendary port fortress. Each season several stars come in Dubrovnik to spend holidays. Among the world-known people, who stayed in the city are: Michael Douglas, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Richard Gere, Tom Cruise, Nick Nolte, Valentino, Kevin Spacey, King of Norway and many other famous personalities.
Dubrovnik was named the best tourist city in south-eastern Europe in 2010 according to the international tourist center SACEN.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments. According to bTV channel, the largest part of this sum will be granted by the European Union.
