For example of many European countries that annually perform extensive beer festivals, Latvia decided to make similar event. So the first International Beer Festival 2011 Latviabeerfest will take place in Riga from 3 to 4 September and although a similar festival held for the first time, it will be in a big way. For visitors of the festival will be proposed a lot of beers both local and foreign production. Besides, the best restaurants of Riga will be opened in place of the temporary pavilions Latviabeerfest 2011, where everyone can try a wide range of national dishes and snacks for beer. The festival organizers also plann an extensive entertainment program. During the festival will be held various competitions, presentations and performances of popular musicians. And guests may participate in the voting for the best beer. On the last day of Latviabeerfest 2011 will be held a competition of weightlifting among the best barmen in the preparation of beer cocktails. Entrance at the festival is free.

In the beer festival will take part such famous Latvian brewer as Aldaris, Cēsu alus, Lāčplēša alus darītava, Bauskas alus, Zaksi, Brenguļu alus, Brālis, Lido, Valmiermuiža, Ilgezeem, Rēzeknes Bryuvers, Brūveris. Among the foreign companies will be presented Paulaner, Bavaria, Obolon, Tuborg, Carlsberg, Guinness, Vallerstein.The venue of Latviabeerfest 2011 has been chosen an old town in the region of architectural monument Zviedru vārti, Torna Street. This is only one of eight city gates, which are still preserved in its original form (it was built in 1698). They are decorated with the image of souvenir plates, magnets and postcards. With this architectural complex connected with lots of historical events and legends.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration.
