Romanian rich people: 25 billion Euros for all
(News from Romania)The fortune of the richest people in Romania reaches 25.1 billion Euros, equivalent to 20.91% of the country’s GDP. These data were published on the pages of Forbes Romania magazine.
The capital of the 500 richest people in Romania according to the Forbes decreased by 11% compared to the last year, which is amounted to 3.1 billion Euros.
Among other indicators, which are indicated by the ranking authors, is the fact that nearly a third of the total capital of the 500 richest people of Romania is concentrated in the hands of the top ten. They own 8.5 billion Euros.
The average fortune of a rich man in Romania, according to the Forbes Romania, is 50.2 million Euros, which is by 6.2 million less than last year. 484 magnates from the list earned it almost from scratch.
According to the Forbes Romania, the richest Romanian billionaire, for the third consecutive year is Dinu Patriciu. Patriciu today has interests in the media business, real estate market trade, telecommunications, energy and banking. Patriciu’s fortune is estimated at 2.1 - 2.2 billion Euros, which compared with last year decreased by almost 100 million Euros.
The second wealthiest Romanian is Frank Timis. His fortune is estimated at 1.2 - 1.3 billion Euros. Timis develops its business in oil refining, mining and pharmaceutical industry. Third place in the list is occupied by Ioan Niculae, owner of the InterAgro company, which in 2007 was estimated at $1.3 billion. In 2011 Forbes Romania assessed the capital of Niculae at 0.9 - 1 billion Euros.
The list of the Romanian rich people has also changed in terms of gender. Thus, the number of female millionaires in the list has grown from 30 to 50. The youngest millionaire in the list is 28 years old, the oldest - 80.
The list also includes a number of Romanian politicians. Thus, the richest representative of the political establishment in Romania is Robert Sorin Negoiţă, who is the vice-president of the Social Democratic Youth Party of Romania and a part-owner of one of the largest real estate companies in the country - Pro Confort. Negoyte’s fortune is estimated at 60-70 million Euros.

Bulgaria will spend 150 million euros for the castles
Bulgaria intends to start a large-scale reconstruction of its historic monuments. Today across the country there are hundreds of colorful historical sites that require serious restoration. Castles, churches, houses and villas in Bulgaria will receive state support this year. The country intends to invest about 300 million levs (150 villion Euros) in restoration of monuments.
