In cold February days the Polish cultural capital of Krakow will turn into a sultry exotic paradise full of the rings of the sparkling melodies and bright cacophonies at the IV international festival of percussion.
The sounds of strange marimbas and vibraphones will fill Krakow and be maintaining its higgledy-piggledy overflowing rhythm from 18 to 22 February. During those few short days of the festival its guests will hear the ardent motives of the percussion performed by the best musicians form Europe, Middle East and America. During the festival to book a hotel in Krakow or to order an apartment would be very difficult because of high demand.
The percussion festival is organized by the Krakow Academy of Music and Krakow festival office. The main musical events of the festival will be held in the concert hall of the Krakow Academy of Music, in the building of Manggha Museum and the Hall of the Philharmonic Society. Also in the building of the Academy of Music will be the masterclasses held by the outstanding musicians-percussionists from all around the world. Seminars will be held daily from 18 to 22 February, from 10-30 am in the concert hall of the Academy, at Tomasza 43.

20th February. Concerts at the Center of Japanese Art and Technology «Manggha». The beginning is at 19-00.
21th February. Musical percussion concerts will be held in the concert hall of the Krakow Academy of Music (Tomasza 43). The beginning is at 19-00.
22th February. The Philharmonic Concert Hall of Karol Szymanowski (Zwierzyniecka 1). The beginning is at 19-00.
