In Bulgaria, near the coast of Varna, on May 24, 2011 will be sunk the former plane of the communist ruler of Bulgaria Todor Zhivkov. The plane of the former Bulgarian dictator will be an underwater attraction that can draw in Bulgaria diving amateurs.

As expected, the plane will be transported from its current position to the coast of Varna near the village of Morska Gora. As reported by the Bulgarian National Television, the Tu-154, on which flew Zhivkov, will become the largest artificial reef on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.

The aircraft will be transported to the site of sinking on a special platform. The place is located 3 kilometers from the resort of St. Constantine and Elena. The aircraft will be sunk at a depth of 20 meters. The maximum height of the aircraft is 11 meters, and its sinking will not disturb navigation of small vessels near the coast. From the aircraft were dismantled all the units that in some form may have a negative impact on the environment and contaminate the coastal waters.

The Tu-154 has been specifically designed for the head of the communist Bulgaria. On it Zhivkov committed transcontinental flights, including Cuba and Mexico.

The resort of St. Constantine and Elena is a picturesque corner of the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria, surrounded by green cypresses in the Varna region. The resort of St. Constantine and Elena is initially tourist project, which consists mainly of hotels. It does not have a base settlement and is a detached spa resort.
