According to the recent survey conducted among the Europeans by a satellite Gold Channel, the British are recognized the European nation, which fly into a rage more frequently than any other nation.
According to the poll, though the notorious British restraint, the British, on average, become furious four times a day. Famous for their ardent temperament, Italians become angry 3.5 times per day. French do it about 3 times daily. The most peace-loving Europeans are the Scandinavians, who irritate about one time per five days.
Taking into account British tolerance and civility, which became a byword, the survey results are very surprising. Almost half of British respondents (48%) believes that the most annoying factor is the people who are trying to jump the queue. Second place is occupied by ubiquitous British traffic congestion (43%). More than a third of the surveyed are annoyed by flagrant service in shops (38%), exhausting foreign call centers (37%) and the necessity to communicate with rude neighbors (37%).
Racism and intolerance irritate 36% of polled Britons, while unpredictable drivers on the road or a public scolding cause irritation among the third of the respondents.
The most irritating factor for the Italians is, and it is not surprising, bumbling drivers. The French came in fury because of the poor quality of food and slow service at restaurants.
Phlegmatic Scandinavians, almost the most peace-loving Europeans, have anger when their countries are subjected to mockery.
The research was attended by 6 000 adult residents of the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Greece, Portugal, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
