In the capital of Belarus finished the first phase of the well-known European program «Minsk Guest’s Card» which will allow guests to get significant discounts in the capital when visiting popular restaurants and cafes, nightclubs and entertainment centers, museums and galleries.
Project was initiated by the Ministry of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. The new discount card «Minsk Guest’s Card» created on the existing plastic card of loyalty program AUTOHELP, including a number of discounts on all fuel types the «Lukoil» chain in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
In the near future will be created first 10 000 discount cards that offer their owners a discount from 2 to 20% on products and services offered by more than 80 enterprises of the Belarusian capital, including 30 best cafes and restaurants, 7 comfortable hotels, as well as major trading enterprises, such as ЦУМ and ГУМ.
Tourists using a discount card «Minsk Guest’s Card» will also receive significant discounts on services at the most prestigious medical centers, a leading travel company «Belarusian satellite», or will be able to rent a car from one of three major international operators. Among other things, the discount program includes 5 major banks, 7 insurance companies and popular telecom operator «MTS».
It should be noted that unlike the majority of such international projects, Minsk discount card has the best price/service charactiristics, compared with similar European and Russian counterparts. At this moment the cost of producing the discount card «Minsk Guest’s Card» valid for two and a half years is 2.5 U.S. dollars. The first emission of cards will be distributed free of charge as a souvenir-navigator among the guests.
According to the organizers, the program «Minsk Guest’s Card» has significant prospects for development. Also from January 2010 will be started the expanded program "Republic of Belarus Guest’s Card" covering the whole territory of Belarus.
