Jazz autumn started in the Czech Republic

Czech Republic is always magnificent, at any time of the year. However, this autumn promises to make this remarkable region even more attractive, adding to the rustling of crimson leaves fabulous jazz chords. In every part of the Czech Republic will be held a lot of jazz festivals and spectacular live concerts. There will be also held many performances by local artists and musicians from all around the world.

Prague.

Agharta Prague Jazz Festival. Throughout the autumn the festival’s guests expect a series of unique concerts that will take place in Prague's Lucerna Music Bar and Agharta Jazz Centre. Among the special guests are expected to be such stars as American clarinetist and saxophonist Anat Cohen (29 October) and singer Jana Koubková (4 Nov).

International music festival Alternativa, which will be held in Archa Theatre from 21 to 28 November, will offer to visitors a variety of alternative music, including jazz, alternative rock and experimental electronic music.

Hradec Kralove

Jazz festival Jazz Goes to Town will be held this year from 12 to 17 October in Hradec Kralove for the 15th time. Among the stars of the festival will be such celebrities as American drummer Jack DeJohnette and The Ripple Effect band, inimitable singer Yvonne Sanchez, as well as František Kop Quartet.
