All-Russia health resort will be turned into the Ukrainian smithy

Due to the unique mild climate, numerous recreational resorts and unique sights Crimea has reasonably long enjoyed the fame of the best resort of the former post-Soviet territory. However, the Ukrainian authorities, willing to make the Crimea an interseasonal resort, are ready to turn the famous Soviet "health resort" into no less famous "smithy" of money.

The announcement on the lifting of the ban on gambling and the return of the gambling business in Ukraine has made the head of the State Committee for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, Michael Brodsky. According to the official, the initial idea is to return the casinos only to the Crimean peninsula and fashionable five-star hotels in the country. On the air of one of the popular Ukrainian television channels Mr. Brodsky said: "In the Ukraine will be casinos. It is planned in the near future to adopt a law, which will primarily make the Crimea an interseasonal resort. The opening of casinos in hotels with every number of stars all over the Crimea would allow someone who wants to play, come to the Crimea, to play and to spend money."

Before the introduction of total prohibition on the casinos in Ukraine, there were more than 10 000 gambling establishments at various levels, which annually replenished the treasury by $ 200 million. Complete rejection of the gambling business was initiated by Ms Tymoshenko in June 2009 after a fire in one of the clubs in Dnepropetrovsk, which killed almost 10 people.

According to information provided by Mr. Brodsky, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov has given appropriate instructions on the preparation of the bill to the reopening of the casino. According to the "Ligabusinessinform" one of the main reasons for the legalization of gambling in the Crimea and Ukrainian hotels, is fundraising for the upcoming European football championship Euro-2012 ".

According to the preliminary information, the cost of the license for gambling will be equal to 5 million dollars.
