The main criteria for the study were safety and health, humanity and business, natural resources and cultural resources, infrastructure and opportunities for adventure tourism (mountain climbing, cycling, rafting and other), image of the country and government policy in support of sustainable development.
According to the study, an unexpected surprise for the tourism industry could make not only exotic Chile and Botswana, but the vast majority of the leading developing Eastern European countries. Thanks to amazing opportunities for ecotourism, ski tourism, hiking, a wonderful natural and incomparable cultural wealth, the region is quickly gaining preferences of tourists from all over the world.
