Today Turkish Airlines has one of the widest flight schedules among the major international airlines in Ukraine. Turkish Airlines operates regular flights to Istanbul from Kyiv, Odessa, Simferopol, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lviv.
Turkish Airlines will fly from Kharkov twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays. The route will be served by Boeing 737-800.
In order to attract people’s interest to the new direction the company has announced about special prices on the airline’s tickets, which will be valid from 13 to 31 March 2012. The ticket, bought during this time interval, will cost 109 Euros. Each passenger will be allowed to carry 30 kg of luggage for free.
Tickets for the new direction from Kharkiv to Istanbul are already available. They can be booked both on the official site of the airline www.thy.com and in the Turkish Airlines offices around the world.
For the Turkish Airlines Ukraine is one of the most important markets in Eastern Europe. It is evidenced by the agreement with the Ukrainian airline Aerosvit on joint flights between the two countries, which was signed in 2010.
Currently direct flights from Istanbul to Kharkov are offered by another Turkish airline - Pegasus.
Turkish Airlines is now one of the world leaders in terms of passengers’ service quality on board. According to a survey conducted among the members of one of the world's largest airline ticket booking sites - Skyscanner, food on the Turkish Airlines aircrafts is the best among all airlines in the world.
