Smalyavichy: Hotels and Accommodations

A special cultural landmark in Smaliavičy is the Church of St. Valentine. It was built in the Neo-Gothic style by 2008, based on a design by the architect Uladzimir Danilenka. The bronze monument to St. Valentine, unveiled in 2009 and created by the sculptor Yaroslav Filippovich, depicts the saint as a wise bishop with a blessing gesture. The history of Smaliavičy also includes the historic wooden Church of St. Nicholas. It was a Baroque architectural monument from the 18th century before it was destroyed by Russian authorities. The National Unity Park in Smalyavichy is located next to the city reservoir and includes a beach, a sports area, a children's playground, as well as walking and cycling paths.

A swimming ban was imposed at the Smolevichi Reservoir for 2024; the water area adjoining the city beach was exempt.
