Drutsk Hillfort is an archaeological open-air monument where all parts of an early medieval fortified settlement have been preserved. These include a fortified citadel, an outer town and a suburb, as well as earth ramparts and a moat. Tolochin is home to the Tolochin State Historical and Local Lore Museum, an institution within the cultural sector of the Talachyn District Executive Committee. Its address is 4 Pionerskaya Street. The Holy Protection Convent is also located in Tolochin. A convent courtyard belonging to this convent stands on the site of the former Boris and Gleb Monastery; restoration of the Trinity Church there began in 2005.

Other religious buildings reflect different historical connections. The village of Monastyr has a surviving stone Holy Trinity Church dating from the 1890s. The Tyundzevitsky estate in Goloshevo was built in 1897 on the site of an older wooden building.

Near Goloshevo, close to the shore of Lake Glubokoye (Glukhoye), stands a stone cross. It probably dates from the 11th or 12th century, is known locally as Baba, and is included on the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus. The cautious dating is part of the monument’s historical character.

Yuzefpolye is on the outskirts of Tolochin and was established as a landscape park in 1890. Alongside the convents, churches and historic estates, it offers a landscaped park as a distinct point of interest in the district. Talachyn District is also home to a House of Crafts and an Olympic Reserve School for cycling.
