The Lovrakov centar is designed as a cultural, educational and tourist center, primarily aimed at school tourism. Several hundred students from all parts of Croatia visit it over the course of the year. This gives the center a clear connection to education and literature. One of its distinctive features is the “Vlak u snijegu” installation, consisting of a steam locomotive and three railway cars on tracks. The installation has protected cultural property status and belongs to a museum collection of railway vehicles and parts.

The “Družbe Pere Kvržice” mill is also connected to a literary work. It is a reconstruction of the wooden mill that once stood here and is considered a symbol of the novel “Družba Pere Kvržice.” Visitors can see how flour was traditionally milled in the mill. This combines the literary connection with a vivid insight into an earlier craft.

The Parish Church of the Holy Spirit was built in 1832/33, after the parish was re-established in 1789. Its architecture displays features of the late Baroque and Classicism. Another historical landmark is the Parish Church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1752 and renovated in 1832. In Pavlovac stands the Catholic Chapel of Saints Peter and Paul, built in 1912.

The “Lovrakovi dani kulture” offer a broad thematic framework: their annual program combines educational, cultural, tourism and sports content. The writer’s name points to the literary focus, while the other program areas show that the event covers a range of topics. It has been held in Veliki Grđevac in his honor since 1987.
