Culture and History

StubiÄki Golubovec Castle is a late Baroque castle in Donja Stubica, considered one of Croatia’s most valuable castles and designated as a cultural and natural asset of national importance. SeljaÄka Buna – Bitka kod Stubice is a historical reenactment held annually at the beginning of February in connection with Donja Stubica. In the 2026 edition, the 1573 uprising was reenacted in the town center.
