Dubrovčan: Hotels and Accommodation
Culture
Dubrovčan is home to a theme park with 12 artistic installations dedicated to significant figures from Hrvatsko Zagorje. Those wishing to book a hotel in Dubrovčan can continue their accommodation search afterwards. The installations are arranged along a footpath shaped like the logo of the tourism board. A musical bench in the park tells a story about Zagorje and significant figures in Croatian and English.
The cultural heritage also includes the single-storey, brick-built Kurija Dubrovčan manor house. Its construction date is unknown; in the early 19th century, it belonged to the Erdődy family, and later to the Brigljević and Palffy families. The ground floor contains agricultural rooms with Czech vaults, while the rooms on the upper floor mostly have flat ceilings.
Nature
Dubrovčan lies on the route towards the thermal spas; Park labirinata and the Aleja are described as early stops along the way. There, visitors can use the “Park s tematskom stazom u Dubrovčanu” application to scan each figure and access an augmented reality experience.
The Church of the Three Wise Men on the hiking trail offers views of Tuheljske Toplice and the surrounding hills. Nearby, Oči Zagorja offers a viewpoint after a short ascent, with views of eastern Zagorje and Medvednica.
