Raduč: Hotels and Accommodation

In Raduč, the guided “Nikola Tesla Path” is based on routes connected with Tesla’s childhood visits to the village. The program includes a tasting at a farm, a hike through Teslina Kosa, Obljaj, Okić and Dobrića Kosa, a stop by a campfire, and a meal featuring local dishes. Nature

The Ričica River springs in Raduč at an altitude of 595 metres. Raduč is also home to the permanent spring complex of Studena vrela.

Trails

The Nikola Tesla hiking program uses unmarked forest paths and forest roads. Each group is accompanied by two guides; the program also requires suitable clothing, suitable footwear and prior registration.

The Raduč–Bunovac–Malovan route is listed as one of three marked hiking trails listed for the municipality of Lovinac. An 11-kilometre forest road to Bunovac begins in Raduč.

OPG Naša Farma offers truffle hunting in the forest with trained truffle dogs, followed by tastings at the farm. Visits to OPG Naša Farma in Raduč are possible only by prior arrangement.

History

Kalinića obljaj in Raduč was inhabited during the Late Bronze Age, as indicated by ceramic fragments found there. The Orthodox church in Raduč has been identified as the place where Milutin Tesla was baptised. It was among the first local sites to be restored after Operation Storm.

Radučka Gradina is described as a ruin; only traces of its walls remain.
