The Drava runs along Donji Miholjac for 22.40 kilometers. Stara Drava, a recreational area where visitors can enjoy unspoiled nature, go for walks, and socialize, lies north of the town. Sporting, cultural, and recreational events take place there.

The XC MTB trail at Stara Drava is 4 kilometers long and follows wooded, winding paths alongside the Drava. A pump track course is connected to Prandau-Mailáth Park.

Events

Miholjačko Sijelo is a traditional cultural festival featuring regional dances, songs, customs, exhibitions, theater performances, and concerts. The Prandau Festival promotes organ and chamber music and revitalizes the cultural heritage and musical tradition of the Hileprand-Prandau family. It runs from May to October and includes several classical music concerts.

The 2026 tourism program includes Advent in Donji Miholjac throughout December for visitors; it features concerts, a Christmas market, and gastronomic presentations. Also scheduled for December is Put meda–Dan meda, where beekeepers present their honey products at Trg A. Starčevića and offer honey tastings and the distribution of honey products.
