Paklenica: Hotels and Accommodation
Paklenica is associated with three medieval cultural heritage sites: Opujić Grad, identified as a medieval archaeological hillfort site, as well as two Sisvete/Sisvete-Crkvište sites associated with the Church of All Saints. The Paklenica-in-Sisvete site is also identified as Britvić-grad.
Culture and History
KUD Paklenica was founded in the village of Paklenica on 18 May 2014. The organization is described as having 60 members, including 25 active dancers.
It organizes and actively participates in an international folklore showcase attended by groups from Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia. The Our Lady of Fatima folklore showcase in Paklenica had already reached its third edition. An international folklore showcase was held in Paklenica in connection with the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. It included performances by local and visiting cultural groups, a concert, a presentation of Croatian folklore, and a church service in a chapel.
Hiking
Crkvište is a checkpoint on the Bljesak hiking trail. The section from Pujić to Crkvište is described as taking about one hour on foot.
