In Žumberak, the Žumberački pil is a Baroque wayside shrine about two and a half metres high, with four niches containing fresco depictions of the four Evangelists. Due to its numerous historical functions and symbolic significance, it is of high cultural and historical value.

The Church of Saint Nicholas in Žumberak is registered as protected cultural heritage under the designation Z-1887. It is a medieval building with Gothic elements and later Baroque furnishings; it was restored in the mid-17th century. The protected monument area Z-1887 in Žumberak also includes a parish house.

Novi grad Žumberak was built as the seat of a Uskok captain and commander of this part of the Military Frontier and was destroyed by fire in 1793. Today, earth-covered ruins remain at the historic site. Bernardićev mlin is listed as a mill in Žumberak.
