The Chapel of St. Stephen is located in Vukšin Šipak. It was built towards the end of the 20th century and reflects a local tradition of chapel construction that has been preserved to this day.

A donation from the Vukšin Šipak branch school greatly enriched the ethnographic collection of the City Museum Jastrebarsko with numerous new museum objects.

The Vukšin Šipak estate was donated in 1497 or 1498 by Prince Bernardin Frankapan to Valentin Hotković. In 1621, King Ferdinand II confirmed the donation of the estate to Martin, Juraj, Gašpar and Franjo Hotković, as well as to the second Gašpar Hotković-Peharnik.
