Culture
St Nicholas at Gorica has a medieval apse and a Baroque nave. St Peter and Paul is a cemetery church built in 1545 in the late Gothic style on the ruins of an early medieval church. The parish church of St Rocco in Ošlje was built in the 15th century and acquired its present appearance in the 19th century.
The Ošlje Feast of St Rocco includes a traditional procession from the church to Vodice. Members of the Linđo–Ošlje-Stupa folklore group take part in local costumes and carry the statue of the saint. Ošlje is first mentioned in the 10th century as “Josle”.
Landscape
Ošlje is associated with fields and high pastures, as well as with agriculture, viticulture and livestock farming. Rotonda stands on the slopes of Utrk, which descend towards Mali Ston Bay. Rotonda can be reached by car, after which one walks through greenery enclosed by dry-stone walls. Rotonda is described as hidden from travellers passing by accidentally.
Ošlje is located near county road Ž6228, which connects Metković and Dubrovnik.
