Culture and History

The parish church of Saint Michael the Archangel in Vrh was built on the site of an older chapel of the same name, which probably dates from the 14th century. Inside are colorful compositions by the academic painter Mate Ljubičić.

KUD “Vrh” was founded in 1996 to preserve the folk traditions and cultural heritage of Vrh. The association preserves the traditional dance and singing of Vrh with younger and older dance groups, musicians, and singers.

Kaštel Salatići is a large stone building covered in ivy, associated with a presumed country estate of the nobles of Krk.
