The Požega City Museum was founded in 1924 and is the second-oldest museum in Slavonia. Across eight departments, it manages around 85,000 artifacts, books, and publications. The Diocesan Museum in Požega houses collections of sacred, modern, and contemporary art, as well as ethnographic, graphic, and medal collections.

Grgurevo is a traditional commemorative celebration in Požega that recalls the city's liberation from Ottoman rule on March 12, 1688.
