The outdoor area includes an educational maze with information boards and sculptures of prehistoric animals. A visit can therefore offer a variety of insights into fossils and prehistoric animals.

The Church of St. Augustine is another notable cultural site in Velika. Its oldest Gothic section dates from the 14th century or possibly an even earlier period. The sanctuary has an outdoor altar for liturgical celebrations held in the open air. The medieval old town of Velika is listed as protected cultural heritage under the designation Z-419.

For a different kind of outing, Shhhuma Aquapark has six swimming pools and three water slides. These include a water tower for children, a children’s water playground and a lazy river. Baron Trenk Castle in Trenkovo was the central building of Baron Franjo Trenk’s estate in the first half of the 18th century.
