Prapatnica is home to the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle. Choosing which hotel to book is also part of planning a stay in Prapatnica. The church was built in 1891 on the foundations of an older church. Its interior features a marble high altar with a 19th-century painting of the Assumption of Mary, two wooden altars, a painting of St. Thomas made locally in the 18th century, statues of St. Roch and St. Anthony, and an old wooden crucifix.

The church is surrounded by a cemetery; in front of it stands a memorial statue of the Queen of Peace. Outside the church, at the crossroads toward Šibenik, Split, and Prgomet, there is a statue of Blessed Alojzije Stepinac.
