Mali Iž has an outpost of the cultural and historical collection in the hamlet of Knež. It covers the cultural history of Iž from prehistory to the present day and pays particular attention to the local suffering during the Second World War.

The collection is open to visitors from 10 July to 31 August, Monday to Saturday, from 18:00 to 22:00. Visits outside these hours can be arranged through the Museum of the City of Zadar.

In the surrounding area of Mali Iž are Sv. Mihovil Castle, the Zadar Fortress, the old town centre and the Church of Saint Mary.
