Culture
The Gothic Church of Saint Michael the Archangel in Zaglav dates from the 15th century and was consecrated in 1458. Franciscans of the Third Order, following the Glagolitic tradition, came to Zaglav in 1451. The Glagolitic manuscript author Fra Šimun Klimantović lived and worked in Zaglav. The Franciscan monastery in Zaglav also dates from the 15th century.

Hiking Trail 10 from Zaglav to ÄŒelinjak is approximately 4.5 km long, has approximately 198 m of ascent, takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes on foot, and is classified as moderately difficult. This Hiking Trail 10 leads to a summit with views of the entire surrounding area.
The Kornati Diving Center is located on the coast of Zaglav. It offers introductory dives as well as diving courses for beginners, advanced divers and professional divers. Diving is among the sporting activities mentioned in Zaglav. Basketball tournaments take place in Zaglav throughout the year.
Water and Connections
The landing stage in Zaglav has six berths as well as electricity and water connections. G&V Line Iadera offers a daily boat connection on the Zadar–Sali–Zaglav route. Zaglav also has a petrol station for water sports enthusiasts, described as the only one on the lower nautical route of the Zadar Archipelago.
Geographical Location
In the wider regional surroundings of Zaglav lies Telašćica Nature Park in the southeast of Dugi Otok. Together with the surrounding waters and 13 islands, islets and rocks, it forms a natural landscape covering 70.5 km².
Telašćica Nature Park offers organised nature tours, cruises, water sports, diving, fishing, cycling and photographic observation. Organised daily excursions to Telašćica Nature Park and the Kornati Archipelago, supported by local fishermen, were available in Zaglav.
