Sebanov: Hotels and Accommodation
Ĺ ebanov offers a variety of points of interest within a small area: its settlement structure, architectural history, historical traces, and marked trails.
Culture
The historic, loosely structured settlement of Ĺ ebanov, with its village green and chapel, is considered an architecturally valuable area. The lens-shaped village green includes a village pond and a freestanding chapel.
The CipĂn niche chapel is located in the Ĺ ebanov district of HoĹ™ice na Ĺ umavÄ›. The chapel in Ĺ ebanov dates from the Neoclassical period, was renovated by 2025, and is a plastered masonry structure with a rectangular floor plan and a plinth. CipĂn is a vanished village.
The historic centre of Hořice na Šumavě is designated as an urban heritage zone. The former mill is also part of Šebanov’s history: it was originally a hammer mill and was later expanded with a flour mill. The former mill disappeared when the road was widened.
Nature and Trails
The Czech Tourist Club’s green-marked hiking trail connects HoĹ™ice na Ĺ umavÄ› with Ĺ ebanov and SvÄ›tlĂk. The hiking route “Around SvÄ›tlĂk (Kirchschlag) and HoĹ™ice (Höritz)” follows a green-marked trail downhill to Ĺ ebanov (Schöbersdorf). On the way to Ĺ ebanov, this route offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The west–south hiking route from Ĺ ebanov via SvÄ›tlĂ˝k rozc., Slavkov, KalištÄ›, Jezvinec, MalotĂn, and DubĂk to ÄŚeskĂ˝ Krumlov is 22 km long.
Geographical Location
Railway line No. 194 České Budějovice–Nové Údolà runs along the northwestern edge of Šebanov. The west–south hike begins with a train journey to Šebanov.
