The Dobrovodský potok stream rises southeast of Třebotovice. After the Malše, it is the largest right-bank tributary of the Vltava in the territory of the city of České Budějovice. The Třebotovice locality also includes part of the Lusný pond on a right-bank tributary of the Dobrovodský potok.

History and Village Structure

Třebotovice was first mentioned in written records in 1378. Třebotovice represent a remarkable variant of a high-medieval planned village, situated between the layouts of valley villages and village-green villages.

In the immediate vicinity, a red-marked walking trail leads from the Dobrá Voda–Točna stop to the České Švýcarsko water reservoir. Along the trail, there are eight information boards about the stream and its immediate surroundings.
