Transport and cycling routes

Uzeničky lies on the road from Blatná to Březnice and is approximately 4 km from Myštice. The village is connected to public transport exclusively by bus services to Blatná, Strakonice, Březnice, Příbram, and Prague.

Two signposted routes are listed for cyclists: Cycle Route 1063 passes through Bělčice and reaches Uzeničky. After Uzeničky, Cycle Route 1062 continues toward Myštice.

Culture and history

Uzeničky has a renovated chapel dating from 1890. The former Uzeničky fortress was a three-storey building from the 14th century and was later converted into a granary. It stands on private property and is not freely accessible.

Křikava, a small 14th-century castle on a small rocky promontory above Černívsko Pond, lies in the vicinity of Uzeničky. It is protected by a moat on its eastern side. Černívsko is also home to the Church of the Holy Trinity, located on the steep right bank of the local pond next to a cemetery that is still in use and surrounded by a stone wall.

The Church of the Holy Trinity in Černívsko probably dates back to the 14th century and was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the first third of the 18th century.

Hiking in the surrounding area

The circular trail to Křikava and the menhirs begins at the Church of the Holy Trinity, crosses the dam of Černívsko Pond, and follows a green-marked hiking trail approximately 150 meters uphill to the ruins of Křikava.

The circular trail is 4 km long, has an elevation gain of 42 meters, and has a stated duration of 1:08 hours. It is classified as easy and is suitable for families with children, but not for strollers.
